Mobile VoIP Support

If you cannot register or cannot make/receive calls with your mobile phone VoIP feature, you are probably behind firewall. Your router's firewall (also known as NAT) is blocking certain operations of the VoIP features of your mobile phone.

Before trying to resolve this issue on your router, try the following solutions on your mobile phone VoIP configuration. Please make changes one at a time and reboot your device each time you make a change, in order to to see if the problem is solved.

1.) IMPORTANT Please make sure you have the latest firmware for your mobile phone. Firmware is the software on your mobile phone and make sure to backup your data before upgrading the firmware, to be on the safe side. Most VoIP issues are resolved by mobile phone firmware upgrade. For detailed instructions consult your mobile phone's user guide and the manufacturer's web site.

2.) Make sure again you entered all VoIP settings including your account number, password (passwords are case sensitive) and VoIPVoIP server domain name correctly.

3.) Make sure that you are able to connect to Internet with your mobile phone over 3G or WiFi connection. If you are connected to Internet over EDGE connection you cannot use VoIP service since VoIP does not work over EGDE.

It is also important that same wireless LAN connection name is chosen at "SIP Settings/Access Point" with the one you are using to connect to Internet with your mobile phone.

4.) If your device cannot register to our servers please also enter Proxy Settings similar to Registrar Server settings and try again.

5.) If your device is registered to our servers but you still cannot make calls, delete SIP profile and configure the SIP profile again using IP address of our SIP server 66.220.10.66 instead of the domain name sip3.voipvoip.com. Click here for detailed instructions.

6.) If you can make calls over WiFi but not over 3G, please follow the configuration guide clicking here.

7.) You can also use your VoIPVoIP account with your mobile phone downloading free software Fring or Nimbuzz.

Please click here to find more about Fring.

Please click here to find more about Nimbuzz.

8.) If non of the above solutions work, in order to confirm that your VoIPVoIP account is working in the same network with another device, download our free softphone to your PC and try VoIP service on your PC.

To use your VoIPVoIP account with your PC;

- Download the PC to Phone software from clicking this link.

If you can register with your PC Phone and make calls in the same network, and if you can connect to Internet with your mobile phone using the same network, please enter again VoIP configuration settings of your mobile phone. (Please make sure that PC Phone is still not registered in the same network using the same SIP and RTP ports or please completely disconnect PC Phone)

Reboot your device and check if you are registered.
